WORSHIP THE CREATOR AND RESPECT THE CREATIONS!!!

By: Sabiha Saifi

By nature he was gentle and kind hearted, always inclined to be gracious and to overlook the faults of others. Politeness and courtesy, compassion and tenderness, simplicity and humility, sympathy and sincerity were some of the keynotes of his character.

WHY RELIGION? WHY ISLAM? WHY NOT JUST HUMANITY?

By: Sabiha Saifi

Once while driving, a cop appeared in front of my car and stopped me and charged Rs 2,000 as fine! I was incomplete shock as to why he is charging this fine from me? I was driving so perfect, neither did I cross my speed limit (which could harm anyone) nor was I too slow. I was in my lane, my car was in perfect condition; I was wearing my seat belt too. I was having all the required documents with me. Then, what went wrong? I questioned the cop.

WHY DO I COVER MYSELF??

By: Sabiha Saifi:

For me it is enough to cover myself because it is the Commandment of my Lord, ALLAH - The Most High, The Most Great. “Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!” (The Quran 7:54)

TIME TO MAKE RIGHT CHOICE

Do you wish for a Royal Life? A life where you can get whatever you wish for or desire? Something more than a VIP treatment, where there isn’t any restriction… devoid of rules! In the gardens of delight, on the couches of gold. Young boys (who will remain young forever) serving cups and glasses of wine continuously (one after the other).

HIJAB FOR MEN

By: Sabiha Saifi:

Do u think she is hot??? So is hell!!! Lower your gaze!!!!

“Hijaab” being a hot topic these days, media is trying its best to malign Islam by providing misinformation to the public regarding hijab by raising allegations like:Islam degrades women in the name of hijab, why in Islam only women should do Hijaab, etc.

*Don’t Mind, But Why Do You Wear This? Answering logically and religiously*

My Dear Sisters, who have accepted Hijaab as their way of living, we often face many questions on Hijaab from non-Muslims, be it our friends, neighbors, classmates, colleagues or just co-travelers. Questions like- "Why do you wear this?", "Is it compulsory?", "How can you wear that in such a hot weather?", "You have got such nice and beautiful hair, what's the point hiding it?", "Why don't you remove it?", "Come on! It’s not like everyone is going to look at you!", "Why so much restrictions to women only?"

Celebration In Islam

By: Sabiha Saifi

"Come on, let’s enjoy..", "Let’s have fun..", "party tonight.." are few most common sentences that are uttered by almost everyone during several occasions and festivals in the name of "Celebration".

Being human

Today, many of us are becoming Ignorant towards our religious duties in the name of HUMANISM, many of us believe that “Humanity” is the Greatest Religion, without having any knowledge! And also ignoring what the Creator (the ONE who created us and everything that exist!) has mentioned for us.

Are you a Successful Muslim? Judge yourself!

By: Sabiha Saifi

When asked “Are you a Muslim?”

Muslims proudly (with their heads held high) says, “Yea, I am a Muslim” rather most of them add, “I am Khan, Pathan, Syed etc etc etc…” and feel really Proud of “calling” themselves as “Muslims”.

But what makes us “Proud Muslims”? Is it the dareness of disobeying The Lord, ALLAH? Or, Is it following the Islam whole-heartedly?

This world is in need of Strangers

By: Rameeza Shaikh

We know that the world we live in has got many problems. Small or big, natural or man made. In fact, we mankind are responsible for most of the problems because almost everything is a consequence of what our hands have sent forth or left behind. Have a wide picture of the real world. The truth is that this world has become a place of business with its priority being the making of profit, while it should have been Justice. Because concern about profit leads to selfishness whereas Justice itself is unbiased and selfless. This concern about profit is what makes people greedy and leads them to do bad things.

Islah and brotherhood in Islam

By: Rameeza Shaikh

‘Islaah’ means to improve, correct, rectify or repair. In Islamic terminology, ‘Islaah’ means correcting a Muslim or providing more knowledge of Islam to a Muslim (Ref: Shaykh Jalaaluddin Qasmi).

Allah (swt) has made believers as an Ummah. Muslims are related to each other not by blood but by the belief of Lailaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship but Allah). Our brotherhood should be as strong as our belief in Lailaha illallah is!

BLIND BELIEF OR INTELLECTUAL SPIRITUALITY

Common sense is not so common [Voltaire, Dictionnaire Philosophique(1764)]
There are people who simply follow their parent’s/relative’s/elder’s way of religion  and there are people who do not care even to pray or perform rituals. The latter type of people are probably lesser in number than the former, as far as our country is concerned. However, both the aforementioned types are gravely wrong as the first one is nothing but ‘blind-following’ while the other is rejecting religion altogether ignorantly without any research or study!

AL-HAQQAH: The Inevitable Reality

By: Rameeza Shaikh

Allah(SWT) refers to the Day of Judgment with several different names, one of which is Al-Haqqah, which means The Inevitable Reality, an event which cannot be avoided. The surah number 69 of Glorious Quran is titled as Al-Haqqah. It is one of my favorite surahs. Apart from the beautiful use of words, it has got a strong message. Scientists today agree that this world will come to an end though no one knows when except the Almighty God.
