Being human

Today, many of us are becoming Ignorant towards our religious duties in the name of HUMANISM, many of us believe that “Humanity” is the Greatest Religion, without having any knowledge! And also ignoring what the Creator (the ONE who created us and everything that exist!) has mentioned for us.

People think following a religion makes a person backward, orthodox, and what not! Is it true? No, absolutely not! I really fail to understand being so much fact-aware generation how can people make judgments without even knowing the actual teachings of the Religion. The most badly-affected religion due to this ideology is Islam. Yet Islam is the fastest growing religion world, because people are now understanding it, Therefore I want to throw light on the same issue to make it a bit clear how actually Islam supports HUMANITY.

Let me start with a saying of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), "He is NOT a Muslim whose neighbors feel insecure with him! In other words, if a person is not a good HUMAN BEING he cannot be a good Muslim!!!

‘MUSLIM’ literally means ‘anyone that submits himself to the will of Allah (The Almighty Creator).’
The one who NEVER hurts anybody by word or deed but works for the benefit and happiness of Allah’s Creation, BELIEF in Allah is to Love one’s fellow Men!

People say we should give love to all whereas in Islam, Allah (The Almighty Creator) has commanded us to even take care of every one – helping poor, orphan, etc. It is obligatory upon every Muslim to give charity on the regular basis to help the poor. Moreover, charity does not only mean the monetary methods… it includes love, care, gentleness, good behavior, compassion. “A believer is the repository of love, there is no kindness in a man who does not have love for anyone nor does anyone love him.” says Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He also said “A smile is a Charity” If you smile at your brother (or sister), it is as if you have given a charity.

Many people claim that we all are equal. I say, we all are equal as a whole… every human being is equal. But The Almighty Creator says in the Glorious Quran: “Mankind was one single nation, and Allah (The Almighty Creator) sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them HE sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah (The Almighty Creator) by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah (The Almighty Creator) guided whom He will to a path that is straight.” – (The Quran, ch2: v 213) Now, the question arises, “How can they be equal when they deferred from the truth, change the truth for their ulterior motive?” Light
and dark cannot be equal.

The Almighty Allah says, “O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah are those who are God-conscious. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” (49:13) From this verse, it is clear that Humanity is a part of Islam.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in his last sermon:
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action. Learn that every Believer is a brother to every Believer and that the Believers constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Believer, which belongs to a fellow Believer unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefore, do injustice to yourselves.”

Acknowledge the perfection of ALLAH (The Almighty Creator). Make yourself sensitive about TAWHEED (ONENESS OF GOD). HE IS ONE AND ENOUGH FOR ALL. That’s his true Greatness!
